HTML
What is HTML and what is it used for?
HTML- Hypertext Markup Language. It is used to mark up a document and add additional information to a file on the Internet
Give 5 examples of html tags, how are they formatted?
<*html>, <*body>, <*center>, <*b>, <*i> (The * should not be included). They are formatted with < > around them. The closed format has a "/" after the "<".
Give and example of how tags are opened and closed.
To bold a phrase or word, you start with , closing it requires putting a at the end of the phrase or word.
Describe parent and child elements.
The parent element holds all of the other elements(Child elements). If you are writing html, the parent element would be and to close . Child elements would be all the remaining scripting, such as <*title>, <*p>, <*head>
etc.

1/21/10 Adobe After Affects
went over the tutorial and got most of in notes, thinkin about doin lightsaber stuff for the next one....
1/22/10 Adobe After Affects
Time Freeze Steps
- Tripod and high shutter speed are needed
- Freezing object is always the foreground
- Do not cross the planes
- Overlay the shots and lower the oppacity to 50%
- Find the right point to freeze where they dont overlay
- Right click the frozen object timeline, time-> Enable Time Overlay
- Set a keyframe for that point in time
- Put another keyframe at the end of the edit
- One frame after the time freeze frame, place another keyframe
- Highlight the second and last keyframe down to create a time freeze
- Dont have the 2nd object come in till the 1st object is 100% frozen, same for resuming real time
- Trim up the comp
- Press U, duplicate layer, name it "Foreground", and make it the top layer
- Turn off adaptive resolution
- Use pen tool(~) and make a mask around the freezing object
- Hit M, M-brings up layer options
- Make the top layer start when the time freeze starts
- Create a garbage mask around the moving object(keep the mask close)
- Keyframe the important parts so the mask travels with the non-frozen object
- Sometimes the moving object's mask will make the frozen object blur when it gets close, and you may have to fix the mask so it doesnt
- Feel free to touch up the objects how you want
And you have frozen time :)
These are some website that i got the information from:
